Local Media HQ is operated by Luckiest Man Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as 8th Replay ("we," "us," or "our"). Headquartered in Williamson County, Texas, in the greater Austin area.
By using localmediahq.com (the "site") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What this site is
The site publishes articles, a podcast and a newsletter about building a local media business, and describes our consulting and other services.
Paid services are governed by the written agreement or proposal we confirm with each client. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement controls. Prices are confirmed only in a written quote or agreement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
- Submit false information or impersonate another person or business.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the site, interfere with it, or overload it.
- Copy the site's content in bulk or republish it as your own.
4. Our content and yours
The site's text, audio, video, design and logos belong to us or to those who license them to us. Podcast guests' words remain their own. You may share links to our work and quote short passages with credit.
What you send us stays yours. You give us permission to use it to respond to you and provide what you asked for, as our Privacy Policy describes.
5. Third-party links and tools
The site links to and mentions other products and websites, including email platforms, advertising platforms and our sister products. We do not control other companies' services and are not responsible for their content, prices, terms or results.
6. No warranties
The site and everything on it are provided "as is." The figures and examples we share come from our own publications and our guests' experience. They are not a promise of what you will earn, spend or grow. We do not guarantee subscribers, revenue or any other result.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or its free materials. Our total liability for any claim about the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.
8. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site or the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
